Bitsy Candelario Recipient

Congratulations to Donte' Collins, BPRO's recipient of the Bitsy Candelario scholarship.  Below is a thank you note received from Donte'.  BPRO wishes him all the luck in his future endeavors!

I would like to thank the scholarship committee, the Candelario Family, as well and the BPRO members for selecting me for the Bitsy Candelario Scholarship. I am truly honored to have been selected and will use the funds to assist with books, meal card, and tuition at James Madison University in the Fall of 2021. I have enjoyed my community service and volunteer work with the Newport News Mayor's Youth Commission and Student Athletic Leadership Team and know that I will be giving back to my community even more one day.
